Wilmslow is a town in its own right, north-west of Macclesfield, with a centre around the station, shops, and streets of houses and flats. The Carrs runs along the Bollin to the south of the centre, a large park rather than a green on an estate. Housing includes Victorian and later town houses, purpose-built flats, and family homes on roads such as those towards Lacey Green and Lindow. Parking in the centre is controlled. Drives appear as soon as you leave the tightest streets.

From 34 Market Pl the drive is longer than a trip to Prestbury. We come out of Macclesfield and north-west, past Alderley Edge on a typical run. It is still a local job we do in a day.
