Removals in Rainow

Rainow stands east of Macclesfield on the B5470, the road that climbs towards Whaley Bridge. The village is stone cottages, houses on a slope, and a primary school on Round Meadow. Some homes sit on the main road. Others are up lanes with walls, limited passing places and a drive that falls away from the tarmac. Tegg’s Nose is the country park on this side of the hills, a landmark rather than an address we deliver to.

From 34 Market Pl we come east, out past the Hurdsfield and Buxton Road side, and up to the village. It is a short drive, slower when the road is busy or when we meet something wide on a bend. We need the truth about the last section. If a large van cannot turn, we stop lower down and carry, or we use a smaller vehicle. That choice belongs in the quote. A sofa on a wet slope is a planned lift, not a rush.

House and furniture moves are the work. Packing is sensible for crockery in cottages where the path from the van is uneven. Tell us about steps up to the door, a cellar, and furniture that was built in the room. We will not force a piece around a stair that cannot take it.

Rainow Primary is in the village. There is no station and no library branch. Bollington Library is down one side of the hill and Macclesfield Library is in town. Victoria Park is the town park on the way back. Council tax and bins are Cheshire East. In bad weather, say if the lane ices, so we do not arrive with the wrong plan.
