Removals in Gawsworth

Gawsworth lies south-west of Macclesfield, spread along lanes rather than a single high street. You pass the church, the school on Longbutts Lane, and houses that sit behind walls and hedges. Some are cottages close to the road. Many are family homes with a drive that is longer than it looks on a map. The Congleton Road is the straightforward way in. The last few hundred metres can be a narrow lane with soft verges.

From 34 Market Pl we leave towards Park Lane and the Congleton Road. It is a short drive to the edge of the village, then local roads. Tell us if the entrance is a shared farm track, a bend with no passing place, or a drive that a rigid van cannot turn in. We can load from a wider point and carry, which is slower and needs to be on the quote. We will not block a lane so that a car cannot pass.

The work is house moves, furniture and sometimes a piano. Packing matters when there is glass and when the carry from van to door is long enough to risk an unwrapped corner. If you are moving out of the village to another part of the UK, we still have to solve this lane first. The journey starts when the van is safely loaded, not when we leave Market Place.

There is no village library or station. Macclesfield Library and the station cover both. The primary school is the local landmark for families. Bins and council tax are Cheshire East. On moving day, warn anyone who shares the drive so we are not met by a locked gate.
