Sutton, Macclesfield, is the village south of the town, on the way towards Langley and the forest. It is not the Sutton in Merseyside. Addresses here are SK11. Housing runs from semis and family houses around Bell Avenue to older cottages and homes strung along the road as it starts to climb. Further out, lanes narrow and the land rises. If your house is already on the Langley road, say that. It is a different approach from a house beside the school.

From 34 Market Pl we drive south through the town, past the Park Lane side, and out to Sutton. It is a short drive in normal traffic. The main road through the village can take a removal van. Side lanes, farm entrances and drives with a tight gate are the part to describe. A long carry from a wider parking spot is better than a van stuck on a bend with a stone wall on each side.

South Park is the green space on the way in if you want a park rather than the hills. Council tax and bins are Cheshire East. On the day, leave room for the bus and for neighbours on the main road.
