Chelford is a village west of Macclesfield on the A537, with a station and a primary school on Oak Road. The school describes it as a growing village, and you can see that in newer houses as well as older ones around the centre. Plots are often larger than a town terrace. Drives are normal. The main road is straight and busy. The side roads are quieter, and a few approaches are lanes where a van should not sit on the bend.

From 34 Market Pl we head west through Broken Cross and the Henbury side, then on to Chelford. It is a longer local drive than a move inside Macclesfield, and it is still done in a day.
